Prime Hospitality Group
Founded in 2000, Prime Hospitality Group started when fourth generation butcher Joey Allaham sought to create an upscale restaurant that specialized in Kosher cuisine. Allaham opened The Prime Grill in Midtown Manhattan that same year, creating the first high-end Kosher steakhouse in New York City and, alongside executive chef David Kolotkin, forever changing public perception of Kosher food. Prime KO, a Japanese steakhouse on the Upper West Side opened in 2010, followed by Prime Hospitality’s first shop, Prime Butcher Baker in 2012 and Prime at the Bentley at the Bentley Hotel on 62nd and York. In 2013, Allaham launched The Prime Experience, a travel program offering guests Kosher experiences throughout the country.
